Carbon facial is a non-surgical procedure also known as carbon skin rejuvenation. It is a two stage process which freshens the complexion by removing the outer layers of dead skin cells from your face.

It gradually reduces pore size and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. White heads and black heads are also often removed by this technique. Carbon laser peel is a resurfacing treatment that utilises laser beams to treat imperfections on the skin. It helps to restore your skin’s radiance and simultaneously encourages the smoothness of the fresh layer that is revealed.

The procedure begins by covering the treatment area on the skin with a thin layer of carbon. A focused laser beam is then aimed at the skin and a clicking sound can be heard during the treatment. The dark shade of the carbon particles helps to absorb the laser beam before a vacuum lightly removes these particles via suction, simultaneously removing the damaged upper layers of skin in the process.

This generates thermal energy within the skin, triggering the production of fresh collagen and a new layer of skin. As a result, the rate of growth of connective tissue increases and skin will be exfoliated by the carbon particles, cleansing your pores thoroughly.

It does not cause any pain or discomfort, with only a minor sensation similar to that of pins and needles being experienced during treatment. Due to the versatile and non-physical nature of the laser.

We recommend a minimum of 3 treatments, depending on what your biggest concern is, more treatments may be required.

Also when starting out we recommend having treatments 2-3 weeks apart, then maintenance after that.
